THINGS TO THINK ABOUT

What size lumber are you wanting to yield from your logs. Make sure you have a place to stack and sticker your lumber for drying in advance of milling.

Flat area to set up saw and maneuver mill.

WASTE MATERIAL

Be ready to manage your waste material if you have logs milled at your site, lot's of cut offs and saw dust that will be generated from the mill. Saw also has a gasoline engine and is somewhat loud
